Digital Camera's and My love for Photography

I love photography and have for years. My dad got me started as we always had a camera around. The first one I remember is the 35mm camera my folks had, we always took a lot of pictures when we went camping. Every summer we went camping at Yosemite National Park in Northern California. It was awesome while we were there and then we would sit around and look at the pictures. Back then my parents had to have them put on slides, everything wasn't so fancy as it is now. Then my dad bought a polaroid camera. That was fun because we got to see the pictures after a few minutes and could watch the photo's being developed. That was cool, so by the time in was in high school, I got my first camera, and the rest is history.

I loved my 35mm camera, but they break down or maybe I just wear them out! Probably some of both, it went to camera heaven not long ago, cause I have tons of pictures to prove it. I started out taking pictures of nature, and that is really what I still love.

I finally got my first small digital camera to test them out, once I figured out that you also need to buy a memory card, (duh) and also the attachment to be able to download my photos, I got started with it. Well I have downloaded the photos on my computer, started a dogblog and a catblog with them for fun and can't get enough.

I have been looking at digital camera's that have the bigger optical zoom for taking long distance photos. As I live in the Pacfic NW, there are tons of wildlife here that you can't get close to such as the beautiful Bald Eagles. There is a pair that live within 1/2 a mile of where I live and I see them often and want to get some close ups of them. Last year when I was walking my dog along the river about this time of year, I saw an eagle in a tree eating salmon that it had just caught in the river. I did have my 35mm camera with me and was able to take some photo's but the lense wasn't strong enough to get very close. Anyway that is what led me on a research journey for a digital camera to use.

I have seen many, reviewed several and frankly I just can't decide, they all look good to me. So I guess that I will just keep researching to make sure it has all of the features that I am looking for.

This I do know, they are expensive, at least the one's that do what I want! I guess that I will be saving all my pennies and one day soon, go ahead and get the camera that I want.

Photography has been a wonderful part of my life for as long as I can remember, and I can't think of much I like more. It has been a wonderful hobby and I am so ready to take it to a new level with my new digital camera.

If anybody has any ideas of good places to do my research, please by all means send me a comment as I love to learn new things.

New Improved Business Ideas

As many of you are doing,I am still consistanly working on refining my ads so I get the most out of the $ that I am spending.

I am also expanding on the concept that you can use free ads for getting results. To this end I have come across something you may be interested in. It is free, and somelike a social networking site, you can have a variety of websites up in their rotation. Qassia, I will post their sites so you can at least look at it and make your own decisions on whether to join it or not.

My mind set is that the more you put your sites out there the faster your sites will start getting traffic. You Need traffic to your site in order to make any money and that is what we are all here for isn't it? It is for me that is for sure, so always looking for a way to promote my business is my main goal.

Sometimes I don't even know how I find these things, but in life, at least mine that is usually the way I find the best things. I have often been looking for something and come across another thing that I wasn't even looking for but turned out to be very useful. So if it seems like I am all over the place, it simply means that I am open to reviewing all new methods of getting my websites our there for everyone to look at.

I have also paid money for things that haven't worked out well, and I even have a review on this site, that I no longer use or believe in. I haven't deleted it yet but haven't gotten any results from it either. Since this is a free world I will only say that it is Google Snatch, original that I don't use. Apparently there is now a GoogleSnatch2 out, but can't comment on it as I have not purchased it and don't know anything about it. I will let everyone do their own research and make their own decisions on that one.

I said I found one thing today, but actually I found 2, the lst one leads to the second one which I mentioned early. Free is good in my book, and there is a lot of very helpful information for your use that actually is working. I just started today and will have more reading to do but can see that this is going to be very useful. I will also include a link for that so you can check it out. It is Free and you have nothing to lose.

I need to get back to reading so I can learn how to get my sites out to more people for free and cancel my google ads account as it is getting expensive. Yes I am getting a lot of traffic, and some clicks and a couple of purchases, but not enough to pay for the ads, so this is not acceptable to me at all.

Having Fun as an Affiliate

I have been very busy lately with some new affiliate programs that I am trying out. I just started one a couple of days ago, and checked my clickbank account today just for fun and saw that I had a sale.

Now that might now seem like a big deal to you, but to me it is a major accomplishment and shows me that after a lot of trial and error, I am really now on the right path.

The help came when I joined a program as an affiliate, within their own website was embedded an additional free program that got me some results. It was the embedded program that really broke down the steps and really held my hand so to speak

There were step by step plans, reading and then a video at the end of each section, so that if you were not clear on anything it was all discussed at the end on the video. I did go back and review a couple of chapters to clarify items and to make
sure I fully understood. I needed to review and still do to get additional information.

When you are just learning something new it always helps to actually do the work as you are instructed by the video and then watch the video to see it being done as well. At least that is the way I like to learn, you may be different, everyone has their own learning styles. I happen to be a hands on learner, I like to do it myself after you show me how, so this training video was exactly what I needed.

If you are the kind who just wants to watch the video, then you can do that as well, it really fits all the learning styles and shows you really just how to do everything in easy steps.

I appreciated the way the video learning was there and also being able to read and look at the information first, then actually doing it on a live site was awesome.

So when I went and looked at my clickbank account and saw I already had a sale, I knew that what I had learned was really working for me. I am so excited that I can hardley stand it. My goal is to keep increasing my knowledge base and keep getting better and better. The video tool that was embedded stated that adjusting your ad to get the maxium results would take about 2 weeks. Now that I am on the right track I can fine tune my ads to see which one works the best and delete the others.

I have 5 products that I am doing ads on right now, I know one is going to be very good, and 2 more with more adjustments. One of the things that I learned was don't hang on to a dead horse. If something isn't selling that good, get rid of it. If no one is buying your product what good is it to keep?

Keep going to the clickbank marketplace and review the top 3 items in any catagorie that you like. Just remember to not get stuck on something you want to buy, rather pick one on the top three and do a test market on it. It shouldn't matter what you want, but what people are looking for. They are ready to spend their money on what they want, so be the one to supply it.

If you would like further information simply click on the SixFigureYearly link and review the program for yourself. (the embedded free bee is only available after your purchase).

Running ADS Any new ideas?

I have tried the sites that you can advertise your site with free. I get a lot of traffic and no orders. So this has been an experiment for me this last 2 weeks. I actually signed up with several of the surfing sites that let you have your ads for free. You then are required to surf and look at others ads. I even upgraded with one who seems to be showing my free ads with fair results. While I had a lot of traffic, over 800 hits on 6 sites, no one was buying anything. I figured out they were just surfing for credits just like I was and not looking to buy anything.

Was it a waste of time? At first I thought so, but then I realised that I gathered some needed information about where to spend my dollars on ads, and that the free sites were not what they appeared at first. It all boils down to the best use of our time each day. Do you want to spend your time surfing looking at other peoples ads, or spend your tiem & money figuring out something worthwhile that is MAKING money?

Maybe others have had good success with these free sites, but for me it has not worked out. After 2 weeks and that many hits, the odds are not good in my favor. Had there been any buyers of any of the products, I might have a different prospect.

Have any of you used any of the free surfing for credit websites with any good results, and by that I mean purchases of your products?

If you have I would love to hear from you, and hear your comments on running ads with them.

I have added a new site for your review, again post a note and let me know your thoughts.

Happy weekend

Terrie

Surfing the net

I have been trying to figure out the best ways to promote my affiliate links and stay on my budget, which mostly consist of free as much as possible. While I have located a few I am still testing most of them out. I have found a good one and would highly recommend it to anyone who is interested in advertising for free. You can list 10 websites for free. That is a lot more than most, some only allow 1, a few allow up to 3, so I found this one very inticing to review. They have a page on your account that allows you to see all the hits on your sites, which helps you to see what is popular and what is not working. The good thing is that the tracking is part of the service, you don't have to "buy" anything. You can surf their site for credits to keep your ads running, or if and when you want to you can upgrade and purchase some credits. However it is not neccessary to spend any money at all to have 10 websites up and having others look at your products. I am very pleased with my results so far and have seem daily traffic on the 8 sites I have going. It is allowing me to see what is popular and what people really want to buy.

Isn't that what we all want? to know that the people are looking at and buying? I don't know about you, but I just don't have the extra money that everyone wants to show you how to, so they get richer and we still are wondering what to do.

I have already posted the link to TrafficSwarm here, and I am very happy with it so far. If you are using it as well, let me know what you think, and the results that you are getting. I think that we can all help each other here, without the exchange of money all of the time. IF the guru's really wanted to help you, they would not always promote each others products all of the time.

Here is to your success

Best regards
