Twitter me this**Follow and be followed

Some time ago I joined twitter along with facebook and squidoo. I got facebook and squidoo going, but never really did much for 2 months on Twitter.

Just a couple of days ago, I went back into Twitter and updated it by putting several comments and sending linkage back to my 4 blogs. I didn't really think too much of it as I thought it would take some time to have a following.

The nice thing about Twitter is that they send you a notification when you are being followed, which is a great thing, you are getting your link out there in the public and google starts looking at you as a resource that they can show off.

My first follower was technorati, now I have another one just from yesterday that is a business called MarketPro and techcoctail. I am now being followed by several people as well.

I received a notification from someone that was following me, went in and followed some of their people. Today I got notification that they are now following me.

This service is free and a wonderful way to get your websites out there, talk to other people in business and have fun doing it.

If you want to be followed, then be a follower. Very simple, just start out with a short message. Keep all messages short and to the point.

Growing your on-line business is a time consuming job, but worthwhile. No you aren't going to get rich quick, but if you hang in there, join some social networks and start getting your website out there, it will work.

If you haven't joined Twitter, do yourself a favor and join. I don't get anything from this, it is just a resource sharing idea that I am already having success with and I love to share my ideas as well.
